Protect and hide your private photos without being obvious about it! PhotoFolders allows you to organize your photos into separate albums (folders) that you can password protect to lock or hide. Now you can share the photos you want to share, and hide the photos you want to hide all in the same app.
PhotoFolders connects as a wireless drive on your PC or Mac, giving you the power to copy files directly from your computer by dragging and dropping! You can also import files from the iPhone camera and photo roll!
Need to view more than just images? PhotoFolders has two inexpensive upgrades you can purchase in the app to support video and office files!
VIDEO SUPPORT: With the optional video upgrade you can store and protect movies in PhotoFolders. Videos can be copied directly from your PC or Mac using WiFi to any iPod or iPhone. If you have an iPhone 3GS you can copy movies directly from the iPhone camera roll. Please note you cannot copy movies on a 2G or 3G phone shot with a 3rd party application.
OFFICE / PRODUCTIVITY SUPPORT: With the optional office upgrade you can add support for a number of office and productivity file types. Store and view Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel files. Also adds support for PDFs, plain text files, zipped Apple Pages and Keynote files, and many more!
To purchase upgrades, click the "gear" icon from the main screen and then choose the upgrade you wish to purchase.

Answers to commonly asked questions:
Q: I password locked the app, why can I still access some of my files and folders?
A: You must lock or hide the folders you wish to protect. Locking the app will lock those folders. To lock or hide a folder first 1) enter your password to unlock the app. 2) Open the folder you wish to protect. 3) Press the "wrench" icon to open the folder options menu. 4) Choose the option to lock the folder or the option to hide the folder. 5) Exit the app.
Q: I ordered the video upgrade but I can't copy videos from my photo roll.
A: If you are using a 2G or 3G iPhone you cannot copy videos shot with 3rd party applications. Currently Apple doesn't let any other program access these videos beyond the Apple Photo app. However you can still copy videos via WiFi from your PC or Mac to PhotoFolders regardless of what kind of iPhone you are using.

Compression?!
Everything about this app is great except...AND THIS IS HUGE...it compresses your pictures when you transfer them from your iphone gallery to the folders you've created in the app. It does it to the point of noticeable pixilation, especially when you zoom in on a photo. IF they fix this, this app is golden.
Constantly crashing, don't expect much
Just got this app, transfered 466 image files sized for iPod screen (totalling 3.9MB) into one folder. While creating thumbnails the first time PhotoFolders crashed multiple times. After a many crashes all the thumbs were created. Entering the folder to the thumbnail view was slow. Opening an image from the thumb view, even the first image is slow. Scrolling from image to image worked smoothly. Returning to the thumb view from viewing an image causes the app to crash every time. Switching from thumbnail view to list view works but switching back to thumbnail view crashes app every time. So it crashes reliably alot.
Using the list view the app will quickly display an image and quickly return to the list, but once viewing an image the user can't advance from image to image. When viewing thumbs or list there are no sorting options. There is no rotation lock. If you've paged through your photos and reach the end the app won't wrap to the beginning again.

I just bought this app and realized that it was not very intuitive to use. Wish I could get a refund.
