TrackLogger
By Svep Design Center AB
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Description
Lower price until the application graphics are updated for the iPhone 4.
The name of this application has been changed from ApertureGPS to TrackLogger due to App Store naming policy.
TrackLogger lets you record a .gpx track log file that can be used with programs such as Apple Aperture or Google Earth.
Run TrackLogger while you're out taking pictures with your DSLR or other digital camera, then import the track log in Aperture and see all your photos on the map.
Or use the track log with Google Earth to see where that last hike took you.
TrackLogger is very easy to use. All it takes is three taps on the screen. One to start recording, one to stop and one to send the track log to your inbox.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
What's New in Version 1.0.3
Added support for running on 3.1.3 and 3.2 (iPad 3G in 2X mode).

Customer Reviews
Works as promised.
Works great with Aperture.
Works with ImageIngester
This is the ONLY iPhone app that I have found to work with ImageIngester Pro. I was so tired of downloading and trying apps that simply didn't work. The GPX file format needed to be in GPX XML format period.
That being said, this app needs some work. It needs to be configurable to set the track interval and perhaps a graphical representation of the created tracks rather than a word stream. It also needs a way to disable zip compression as a user choice!
It is worth getting this one.
