Do you know that the fabulous town of St Germain-en-Laye is on a direct line (RER A) from central Paris and you can reach there in under half an hour?

Saint-Germain-en-Laye is famous for its 2.4 kilometre long stone terrace built by André Le Nôtre from 1669 to 1673.

Marvel at the National Ceramic museum at Sèvres and see more than 10,000 exhibits in one of the world's largest collections. Take Tram T2 direct to Musée de Sèvres and you'll see the museum opposite the station.

And what about the gorgeous architecture of Cité Universitaire? Again, just a few minutes direct on RER line B.

Don't tell everyone (well ok, only close friends) but one of our favourite café's is at 38 Rue de Bretagne - the Café Charlot. Nearest métro is Filles du Calvaire on line 8. This café is just across the road from the oldest covered market in Paris - the Marché des Enfants Rouge. A traditional Parisian neighbourhood bistro.

Ride tram line T2 high above on the the hills of Western Paris and see a different view of the Eiffel Tower from Puteaux, in little over half an hour from central Paris (from Châtelet Les Halles station).
