WychList is a convenient shopping list app that helps you save time and money when you shop for groceries.

Add items to your shopping list by simply scanning the product's bar code. Using the latest bar code scanning technology, WychList will read the bar code and download a product description and picture (if available), reducing your data entry time.
✓ Avoid Confusion
WychList identifies products using their bar code, so your product inventory is based on the actual products you buy. This, together with a picture and description, helps guarantee your buying the exact item on your list and you have an "apples to apples" comparison on price.
✓ Save Money
Track prices on the products you buy at the stores you shop. Aside from coupons, this is the easiest way to save money when you shop. If your not sure of the price, use the internet price lookup to find the 3 lowest Google prices for your region.
How it Works
Simply name your shopping list, then begin scanning bar codes. Once scanned, information about that product is downloaded (if available) and saved to your personal inventory, which you can then edit and categorize. As you shop, enter the price and check the item off your list. Over time, you will build a personal inventory of products and prices from which you can quickly build new lists and make informed buying decisions.
With WychList, you can build your shopping list throughout the week. When your products run out, just scan the barcode from the package before you throw it away. It's that easy!

Really to Cumbersome
Really too cumbersome to use for large shopping visits and extremely prone to crashing. Might work for a very small shopping list, does not do what I would have liked it to do. I spent quite some time with it on a couple of very large shopping trips and am very disappointed with the results.
Very Good Shopping App
I really like this app. It helps make grocery shopping much easier and quicker. I find it much easier to make up my shopping list. It also gives me a good idea of how much it will cost for all the items on my list and keeps a running total of everything in my shopping basket while I am shopping. Adding items to the list in the store is a snap.
I would rate it higher if it came with pre-loaded catagories to save time in the initial setup. Scanning the bar codes to enter items is easy and fairly accurate. It does not always find the stores generic brands but entering the info is quick and easy. Price changes are easily entered in the shopping list and reflected and tracked in the database.
I would like to be able to enter price and weight for items sold by weight (fresh vetetables) and have the app calculate the total price.
Good concept but a bit cumbersome to use plus crashes too often
