Narrative Essay (First Person) Description

One of the most personal and useful things you do is share stories. This is the main way we learn from each other. Sharing adventures or ideas carries an innate bias; the audience is hearing only your perspective and viewpoint. Whatever biases you have are instinctively passed along. Writing in the first person narrative is similar. It is telling a story from your (the "I") perspective, and the reader experiences events through your eyes, feelings, reactions, and interpretations. This powerful literary tool gives a deep connection with your audience. However, it can present some limitations to your storytelling.
