Description
PopMath is a fun way for kids to practice basic maths.
Six pairs of bubbles with numbers float on the screen above beautiful backgrounds. Each bubble contains a number: simply pop the corresponding bubbles!
As you progress through levels, numbers increase, and new operators are introduced: subtraction, multiplication and division.
Each level's end greets you with your time for that level and a message personalized to your performance, from "well done" to "unbelievable!"
You can also choose a specific operator before starting each round: addition, subtraction, multiplication or division.
Numbers go up to 1000 for addition and subtraction, and 20 for multiplication and division.

Best math game for basic facts practice- Highly Recommend
My 3rd and 6th grader love this app. They are both challenged at their respective levels, compete to have the most points and levels, and play this game for about 15 mins a session. It is the first time my 3rd grader, who prefers all things language arts, has happily practiced basic math facts. One can choose to practice +, -, x, / or all of them. There is a slide bar at the bottom of the screen to adjust the difficulty level if you prefer. (So the game could be used for children just beginning addition: adjust the difficulty and choose to practice only addition.) One can return to the same place you ended your last session, much to my kids' relief. There are no player files, however, so once someone else begins to play you've lost your own progress.
Fun math game for kids & adults too!
This is fun and a great math game for all ages! I enjoy the simplicity. I picked it up quickly and found it easy to play. I have a lot of fun trying to beat the seconds and get my mind sharp. I'm an adult and enjoy it - kids will love this! It keeps you engaged. Its worth getting!
Too easy to guess correct answer
Educational value would be significantly improved if this app had more problems per level and required correct answers to all problems before advancing to the next level. Used this app with 2nd and 3rd graders and observed that some were rapidly advancing through levels by guessing at answers. Each level begins with four problems. It's very easy to randomly select from the four possible answers until the bubbles "pop" leaving one less problem and answer. Correct answer to fourth problem is assured since there is only one choice remaining.
