Fun with good replay value
This is a fun little game you can quickly pick up and put down. It is well worth its price and the game play and graphics are marvelous and allow you to immerse yourself in the game.
Before I buy a game, I look to see if it is steadfastly updated over a long period of time. I do not want to buy a game that will be abandoned in a few months. Minigore HD (and it's iPhone iteration) meet and surpass this standard. They have both been periodically updated with new features and game play. The periodic updates (over a year of updates now) make this game a fantastic value.
Doesn't work after update
When switching orientation the game crashes and closes.

Minigore is an App Store classic, and has gone through so many changes since its original release back in July of 2009. Yesterday, Minigore received a new update that is likely the final content update for the game, though bug fix updates may happen. The new content includes a new Guest Star, Bike Baron, from Mountain Sheep’s other game that was just released. It’s a minor update, but the entire series of updates has been a great run, and the game is a completely different experience than from its original release.
Minigore is always worth bringing up, as it’s still the definitive endless action dual stick shooter that no other game has been able to match in terms of hectic action. Mountain Sheep is now turning their focus to Minigore Zombies which is a whole new game that changes everything you know about Minigore. When the first game was made, it had to run on first generation devices, and the developers have been struggling to continue to support those devices. Minigore Zombies will rely on all iOS 5 compatible devices, so the potential is outstanding in terms of technology and visuals.
The gameplay itself is brand new with boss battles, days of survival, and of course tons of zombies. You won’t just be facing regular zombies, but there will be zombie versions of every character included in Minigore, and they will all will act as bosses, including multiple bosses at once. There will be a new graveyard environment, and even the potential for a level editor. Minigore Zombies will also rely on the new features in iOS 5, and will hopefully provide online mutlplayer with Game Center. There’s no specific release date, as the developers don’t know how long it will take to create their most ambitious title to date, but they’re definitely getting close.
