Maxjournal is a simple and elegant way to make a daily diary or journal, with extensive photo scrapbooking features. Designed to be easy to use and easy to navigate - it makes it a joy to sit down and get introspective with your diary-writing self. Everything you need is at your fingertips. Create separate journals for any situation – personal, work, travel – or for different users in your household. Each journal has individual settings and password control.
In Maxjournal, you can add up to 30 photos for every journal entry. Photos can be added directly into your text, and positioned and rotated. The text will automatically wrap around your photos with no extra work on your part. Additional photos can be added to your journal sidebar, which is a great place to collect and organize photos that you do not add to your main text.

Just enough features
I am addicted to this app after only a few days. Every time I kept a journal I got bogged down in boring every day stuff. With this app, I keep one journal for that, and separate journals for other parts of my life that I want to document, each in a separate "journal". It's nice to have the picture import - although it would be even better if you could take a picture directly into the app.
You may not be able to change the fonts daily, but you can have a different font for each journal.
very special app
I bought a bunch of journal apps to try out and I chose this one over remembary, mymemoir, and chronicle. You can create multiple journals, which I've been using to compile communications with different people. Each gets their own journal. And it prints or mails as a pdf very neatly. The interface is sophisticated and pleasing. Importing pictures is easy. I'm tickled with this app and it is one of my favorites of all time. Don't forget your password though---you'll lose access for good.

OK, there is no great journal app. PLEASE SOMEONE MAKE ONE.... Why doesn't this app have dropbox support?... Stupid move, and how easy would that be to add... Also, why cant we import entries?.?. We can restore from backup, but why can we import journals from other journal programs? Give us a format to allow imports from text or whatever you prefer. I cant rely on this app to be my journal without more functionality. I bought all of the Journal apps, and have decided to stay with this one because it has the most potential, not because it's great. I would love to import my journal from Daily Journal program. PLEASE make a way to import from a standard format like PDF or text. It seems like this developer has stopped working on the app.
