Go into Settings of your phone, then choose Notifications. In the app list choose the Med Reminder. Then activate “Notification Center”, “Badge app icon” and “Sounds”.

Micro dosed contraceptive pills, for instance, have absolutely to be taken at the same time to be sure to be protected. Some osteoporosis drugs are only taken weekly or monthly. Did you take already your drops for today? Don’t take a double dose by mistake! This application shows at what time you took your drops and you see immediately when you have to take the next dose.
Three easy steps , that will take more or less 30 seconds, are necessary to add a new med to the application. First step: type the name of your med with the dosage (ex. Paracetamol 500 mg or insulin 20 IU). Second step: precise if you take the drug with or without the meal. Third step: precise if you take it daily, weekly or monthly. With a time wheel you enter quickly when to take it (e.g. 8 am and 12 pm). Done.
The Med Reminder Pro contains a med list. In this list all your meds are shown on one screen. It allows you quickly to show your physician or your pharmacist all your meds at a glance. Your physician will be informed about your drugs (names, dosages and intake frequencies), so that he is able to decide which med should be added or replaced. But the med list can also give all important information to your pharmacist that allows him to find possible interactions between them.
Finally the Med Reminder Pro contains a history function. The names of the meds you took are categorized in an alphabetical order. This allows you, for instance, to know if and when you took the Paracetamol in the past. But the research can also be done in a time list. This allows you to know what med you took a certain day at a precise time.
The remark in the "med file" is very useful. Every change of the remark will be saved in the history (dosage changes of a med and for instance daily blood pressure values).
The history can show you all the meds you took in the past years.

Very good app. Over 50 helps me a lot.
Nice, basic reminder system
Great as a basic med reminder system. The major problem I encountered was when only taking an antibiotic for ten days there was no option to enter a duration. You have to enter the med and remove it when the course is done. Pretty basic app, no bells and whistles.
