Finally, an awesome, interactive, learning tool designed for your grade school Smarty! This application consists of 26 lessons that review and 26 corresponding mini games for repetition and reinforcement.
Developed by a creative designer, educator, and developer who are first and foremost parents who want the best (who doesn’t?) for their children. Many of the screens are designed from a child’s artistic view and supplements what they are taught in school, now provided on the go! Their love of learning will flourish as Smarty Shortz provides immediate and encouraging feedback through fun, kid friendly scenes!
Your child may choose from a wide range of core curriculum subjects (Geography, Spelling, History, Reading, Science and Math) An array of age appropriate concepts and facts are reviewed through positive reinforcement. Once a short lesson is completed correctly your child is rewarded immediately by a mini game. The mini game reinforces what was just reviewed through an engaging and exciting format!
Children learn best when concepts are presented in a fun, visually appealing, hands-on approach with repetition. Your Smarty will love “working” with Smarty Shortz!!

Geography- Figure out and locate the continents and oceans. Then help Smarty Shortz inflate his raft and maneuver to exciting destinations in five various vessels!
Spelling- Visually connect high frequency words to objects and then practice reading and writing them! Locate words with similar sounds and patterns. Reinforce the spelling of the word by helping Smarty through a visual and kinesthetic approach.
History- Recognize the Mona Lisa and other significant pieces of art in the Art History level. Learn important dates and view major pieces of technology in History of Technology. Continue increasing your knowledge about important events in the American History level. Does your child know when Columbus Day and other important holidays are? This and more when your child taps on the Calendar level. Then your child will have a blast twisting and turning by playing putt-putt to strengthen the recall of all these important dates.
Reading- Help reinforce and increase your young scholar’s literacy skills by following along with stories that are read aloud (if he/she chooses). Identify what all short stories should have- a beginning, middle, and end. Then, unscramble words to form a complete sentence, “shoot” complete sentences, and answer comprehension questions.
Science- Locate and learn the key components on a plant. What do plants need in order to live? Smarty Shortz will teach you! Review how an apple gets to the table, the rain cycle, and metamorphosis.
Math- Any Smarty would love to measure these objects! Has your child ever bowled with tomatoes on a ruler? They will review money and graphing, too!

terrible don't waste you time
1.Non intuitive interface that no one can easily figure out.
2.Also, in the "science" section in order to complete one of the lessons you have to put the word photosynthesis on the sun not in the leaves where the process actually happens.
3.Art history lessons just flat out don't work.
4.Typical race to nowhere American grade school quality.
