Customer Reviews

Works now.

I promised I'd write a new review when the developers updated the game to actually run on most of our computers.

Now that they have, here we go...

The overall premise [old airship freighters with gatling guns and pirates] is a steampunk/dieselpunk's wet dream!

Gameplay is a bit short [you can play all the stages in a single afternoon], and it can get a bit monotonous at times, and it would be REALLY nice if I could hire a crew to man various stations, so EPIC battles can ensue [hint hint for the developers] instead of running around the ship running errands while being shot at.
Flying dynamics of the pirate ships are just laughable [especially when turning], but for an arcade game this is fine. Also, the way "repairs" are done is kind of hilarious.

Overall, for the price, the game is good. Four stars, because there is a HUGE amount of potential here assuming the developers keep on expanding and refining things.

Thanks for making this version work, guys. Glad I bought the game.

GREAT GAME!!!!

very good game, you run around your battle blimp thing and repare it and shoot down air planes and other battle blimps out of the sky. The options are story mode, multiplayer, and (of course) options. you can go in full screen mode or window mode but the window mode is practicaly full screen scince you cant move the window around due to its size. the graphics are epic for the computer, and the weather looks great (rain, snow, night, afternoon ect.). as much custimization as you can get is the placment of the turrets and armor for your ship. Last but not least is the mutltiplayer, it is very hard to find people to play with you on multiplayer and i cant say much more about multiplayer scince i have never played it at all due to the lack of people on it. over all VERY much so worth the money its cheap and keeps you from getting bored! enjoy <('_'<)

Quite fun, and a lot of potential

This game is fun and worth the $5 purchase price. You have to hone your skills as a gunner, manage your time between shooting down pirates and performing repairs, and make tough decisions about what upgrades to elect after a successful mission. Because of these variables, every campaign has the potential to play out differently!

I've played through the campaign about 5 times, trying different routes to the end. I find it to be very entertaining and a good distraction/time-waster type of game. I frequently try to set personal records on "Into the Breach" but have yet to survive past 50,000 meters....

Potential improvements:
Single player: I wish you could retrace your steps on the map and fly all the different routes and missions in one campaign. It would be great to get more upgrades that way.

Multi-Player: Nobody ever seems to be online to play a multi-player match. I notice that I always appear as a "guest" - I think it would be helpful to allow user-names, and the ability to play with all players around the world, rather than selecting US or EU servers...

I hope Muse Games reads all the reviews posted here and makes a few improvements to turn this into a 5 star game!!!
