Welcome to planet Sinistral, where rare Xenodium crystals are coveted by a human mining conglomerate called the Consortium. However, they are not the only ones after the rare mineral. The Myriad, an indigenous race of aliens, is addicted to Xenodium and will do everything they can to prevent the Consortium from plundering their resources. To add to the chaos, a sentient robot race called the Wardens is trying to turn the war in their favor. Whose side will you choose?
With Starfront: Collision HD, choose from 3 unique but balanced races and deploy your strategy for victory in this battle. Each faction can construct 8 different buildings and over 10 destructive units to build up their base and mount an unstoppable assault on adversaries. Fantastic RTS
I was a little frustrated that this game was originally announced for the iPad; and it was released on the iPhone long before this version came, but it is finally here. I played a bit of the iPhone version and enjoyed it well enough on there; however, I knew that the iPad was going to be the way to really experience this game. The screen real estate of the iPad really lends itself to RTS games, and this is no exception. Any RTS enthusiasts needs to check this game out. It is the best RTS game out for iOS.

I've been waiting for a solid RTS game for the iOS since the iphone and iPad came out. While some games that have come out for this genre really only support a campaign and 1 player mode and have limited replayability, gameloft made the multiplayer option on this flawless. This is what makes the game...
Multiplayer, multiplayer, multiyplayer!!! Basically the replayabllity of this game is endless now because I just hop online against a friend or random and battle it out. It's absolutely fantastic and brings me back to Age of Empire caliber games. While this might "borrow" some traits from other RTS games out there. There is no offering on the iphone or ipad that allows for this type of gameplay currently. Thanks Gameloft!
Only feedback I have against the game is the ablity to rush in the beginning with Wardens/Myriads with little ability to defend. This needs to be rebalanced somehow. Turrets for these two races need to be more expensive, or toned down. I noticed you have a balancing patch that updates frequesntly...would love to see that in effect! Cheers!
Nice RTS Similar to StarCraft
Gameloft does a good job of making generic versions of popular PC games for iOS. Until the PC game makers commit to the iOS platform, I'm all for it.
The touch controls seem intuitive. Also, the larger screen of the iPad really helps the enjoyment of this game.
