6 years have passed since the events depicted in the first episode.
Humanity is now thrown into a bloody civil war fought on one side by the central government of the Terran Orbitals and the self-appointed Human-Alien Alliance; a new organization with a mysterious origin and agenda. Kal Wardin left active service in N.O.V.A. years ago and now lives among the colonists of the desert planet Scorpius.

Love this game!
This game has incredible graphics, and a great plot and storyline. It is definately the best shooter on the Mac App store. The controls are also great. The whole look of the game is very cool. It's an all around fantastic game. I loved the first NOVA, on my iPhone, but this takes it to a whole new level. You have got to buy this game. It would have been worth over $30, so you can not beat this price!!!
2007 MBP 17 Game doesn
I was excited to play, and was gearing up for some fun, but After the Intro Movie Plays, all i get is a Blank Screen, does anyone know why this is happening. I runnin it on MBP 17 2007 model, it doesn't list the hardware for minuim sys requirments!!!! Please Help!!!
NOVA 2!
I loved N.O.V.A. 2 on the iPod Touch and found that it was far more enjoyable on the larger screen. The graphics have been scaled up nicely and the single player is just as immersive and addictive as its iPhone and iPad counterparts. But the multiplayer is where this game really shines on the Mac. Once you sign in with your Gameloft account, you click Quickplay and BOOM! You are loading into an online match, ranging from Team Death Match to Capture the Flag to Free For All with up to 10 players. The game, for both single and multi player options, loads very quickly and runs with excellent FPS. I am running it on my 13" MacBook Air (2010). An excellent buy for only $9.99!
