Description

Passwords is designed to help you store, organise, protect and use sensitive information like usernames and passwords for websites, PINs, bank details, serial numbers etc.

You can create any number of fields (and call them what you like) to save your information to. Information can be quickly accessed and copied to the clipboard, and URL's can be opened in you default browser.

Your data is stored in a database, the sensitive information is encrypted. The app can be optionally password protected by a master passcode.

The app uses iCloud to sync your data between devices, you can toggle this within the app and manage iCloud via your device settings.

What’s New

Version 2.1

IMPORTANT: This is a vastly changed version, some features such as auto-complete have been removed. It is essentially a copy of the iOS version.

Added iCloud support.

Good but a few downsides...

This application is something that I desperately needed…I had to stop storing passwords on sticky notes or some notepad files that would eventually get lost. In terms of doing what is advertised, storing passwords and having a master password, it does what it says, for a good price. However, the input field is extremely confusing!! I thought there would just be two windows, one for username/etc, another for the password, and a name on the top. But it has so many fields: field name, field value, launch file, secure code…what is all that??? It is just an eyesore and so incredibly confusing…I really do hope that a future version makes adding passwords cleaner and easier, I hope I did not just spend $5 for nothing...

Upgrade wipes out all your existing password data base

This is a good program for saving passwords. However, when I was prompted to upgrade to the latest version, my entire existing data base disappeared, and I had to laboriously reconstruct it from memory and by changing many passwords I could not remember. This is a terrible bug that should be fixed. If you don't want it to happen to you, DON'T UPGRADE! The new version isn't any better than the one you already have.
