Cityscape Panoramas

Description
This app shows over 900 panoramic photographs of cities taken from about about 1860 to 1958. It's for people who love "a bunch of old pictures," as a reviewer below called it.
An internet connection is required.
Panoramas are shown full-height, but the width extends beyond the screen. You drag your finger to pan, as though you were looking at the scene live and swiveling your neck. It's a fun, unique way to view panoramas.
The widest panorama is over 10,000 pixels, which is 10 iPad screens of panning! You can also see the whole panorama smaller, to fit on the screen.
Lots of viewing features: View a grid (adjustable sizes), pan, see a slideshow, browse to the Library of Congress record for the image, or save an image to your Photo Library.
Most of the images are from 1900 to 1920. Subjects include US and foreign cities. All of the images are from the Library of Congress archive. There are 10 chronological groups, and four city-groups: Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.
Customer Reviews
Don't buy it
A bit of a let down. It's just a bunch of old pictures, it's poorly organized.
