KEEP EVERYONE ON THE SAME PAGE
Idea Flight enables one person, the Pilot, to control the screens of multiple iPads, viewed by the Passengers. All you need is the app and a wireless connection via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to command the iPads and attention of your audience. Passengers will have an engaging experience on iPad alone or in tandem with a traditional whiteboard presentation. Plus, Pilots control the content before, during, and after the gathering.
GET YOUR IDEAS OFF THE GROUND
Preparing materials for Idea Flight is simple: Content must be saved as a PDF and can easily be accessed through Dropbox, iTunes File Sharing, or email. Then invite your Passengers to come on board directly from the app...we even wrote the email for you to get you started.
CONNECT ON THE FLY
No business cards, no problem! Idea Flight includes a Passenger List allowing Passengers and Pilots to connect via LinkedIn. Use the Passenger List as a virtual cheat sheet and add attendees to your LinkedIn network while your gathering is underway.

As an Idea Flight Pilot, you can:
* Share ideas without granting permanent access to your presentation – unless you choose to.
* Email from Idea Flight to invite people to your presentation and direct them to download the Idea Flight app.
* Know your audience. View their names, titles, and photos using LinkedIn, and invite them to connect.
* Display your presentation on an external monitor for large audiences, as well as simultaneously on up to 16 iPads via Wi-Fi and 4 iPads via Bluetooth.
* Guide presentations in Locked mode, and then Unlock to allow Passengers to scroll or tap to screens of particular interest or to recap the presentation.
* View a free presentation preinstalled in the app.

What's New in Version 1.1
NOTES: Take notes within any presentation! Access Notes via the 'compose' button in the toolbar at the bottom of your presentation. Take, save, access and share them anytime directly from the app on the home screen, your Dropbox, iTunes File Sharing, or email.
SECURITY: Opt to protect your meeting content with BOARDING PASSCODE, perfect for particularly sensitive presentations.
PINCH & ZOOM: In “Locked” mode as the Pilot zooms & pans, the Passengers are kept in sync. When “Unlocked” the Passengers have all the fun.
ROTATE: PDF in the wrong orientation? Simply hold two fingers down on the presentation to enable rotation. When you're finished, simply tap with two fingers.

Great new features.
I love how I can write notes and save them to Dropbox. As a pilot, notes is also a cool way to keep a crib sheet of thing I want to make sure I hit on each slide. Haven't used passcode yet, but that looks very cool too. nice update.
I'm loving Idea Flight
I've been tinkering with the app between my iPad and my daughter's iPad for a few days now and I'm about to use it for the first time in a presentation to pitch - of all things - an iPad app to my client. Great idea and great outside the box thinking. If I'm not mistaken judging from the functionality, the app is using Game Kit (or some custom approach to the same end( and LinkedIn integration for things one might not immediately think of for Game Kit and LInkedIn. Kudos!
