Inpaint reconstructs the selected image area from the pixel near the area boundary. Delete any unwanted object from your photo, such as extra power-line, people, text, or anything else. Just leaves a blurry patch
I tried it on a few photos. One just had sand as a background, others with more complex backgrounds.
In all cases, after processing there was a blurry patch where the object used to be. It was very obvious an object was removed from the photo.
I bought it after reading a good review, but I should have looked at the sample photos. Just look at the sample above, the one with a building being removed from an autumn scene. In the "after" photo, look at the sky and you can see where the building was. If it shows up even in that tiny photo, imagine how bad it looks at full resolution. You would think a plain blue sky would be an easy patch.
NOT the latest version
FYI this is NOT the latest version and to update to the latest version will cost you $20. This app works pretty good but you need the new version to do complex fixes
Should be called "BLUR" instead!
Absolutely horrible! For example, I tried to remove a decoration from the background. It was on drywall, smooth, paint all around item. I left a discolored blob on the wall.
Maybe good if you want to leave someone in a shot and blur their face. App should be called "blur" and "blob" instead.
