Description
iPB-Nexus App allows you to control the powerful iPB-10 Programmable Pedalboard from DigiTech. You MUST have the iPB-10 hardware in order to take full advantage of all the features and benefits of this application (See www.digitech.com for details).
The iPB-Nexus brings the simplicity of a pedalboard and the flexibility of a multi-effects to the iPad. iPB-Nexus App is used to control the iPB-10 Programmable Pedalboard from DigiTech. As the interface for the iPB-10, iPB-Nexus sets the new standard as the interface for guitar signal processing, pedaboard set up, and control. Together, the iPB-10 and iPB-Nexus App unleash the ability to create and control your guitar effects like never before.
Pedalboard Simplicity
The iPB-Nexus allows you to create your ultimate pedalboard, all on your iPad. Design a pedalboard by simply dragging and dropping up to 10 different pedals, in any order, to each pedalboard. You can even add an amp and cabinet to each setup. With 87 different pedals, 54 amps, and 26 cabinets to choose from, your options are virtually unlimited. Simply swipe your finger across the iPad to rearrange your pedals, turn them on and off, or to adjust their knobs.
Multi-Effects Flexibility
Traditional multi-effects have given you the flexibility to change the entire configuration of your signal chain with a single footswitch. The iPB-10 brings the concept of presets to a pedalboard. This allows you to save 100 of your favorite pedalboards with the touch or your finger, and instantly recall them with the stomp of your foot. You can have a different pedalboard for each gig, set, song, or even switch pedalboards within a song.
Control the most advanced, programmable pedalboard in the world with this new groundbreaking application for iPad, the iPB-Nexus. Once you experience the flexibility of the iPB-10 Programmable Pedalboard with its drag and drop design, you will change the way you think about guitar effects forever.

Customer Reviews
Coolest, Easiest, best sounding pedal board to date
I was a little skeptical to give up my TC Electronic Nova System for a Digitech multifx. I've had Digitech multifx in the past and haven't been super impressed. What made me okay with the switch was the fact that it has an effects loop so I can still use my Tech21 pedals. The iPB10 floor unit and Nexus is the best guitar setup choice i've ever made. I've been through about 16 different guitar fx setups in my guitar playing lifetime. I am VERY impressed at the quality of the effects packed into this dude. At first thought, it would seem like having so many pedals and amps to choose from would be overwhelming, but it really isn't. I believe this is due to the INCREDIBLY easy-to-use interface. Many multifx units have so many buttons and menus to adjust a sound of one effect that it becomes not fun to use. The iPB10 is absolutely effortless. The pedals are… pedals. With all the standard knobs that real pedals have. The pedals are "on the floor" as they are in real life. Except this is better than real life, because all I have to do to change them is swipe my finger to adjust a knob, or tap it to choose a new pedal, or drag it in a different order. In "physical" life, I'd have to A) spend thousands to get all of these pedals and amps B) plug and unplug to switch 'em out C) plug and unplug to rearrange them. It's the perfect melding of virtual and realism. Are the pedal and amp models accurate? Honestly, I can't say because I don't have a lot of experience with the pedals and amps that are modeled. What I do know is they sound GREAT and real. The rectifier sound a like a rectifier (i'm a little familiar with that). I disagree with another review that says it lacks good heavy metal sounds - massively disagree. It has thick, juicy, chunky, rip yer face open overdrives and distortions and amp models.
The app's method of storing and sorting your patches is genius. You can categorize it by style/genre, artist, song, patch name, etc…
This is really an exceptional app and FX unit. Controlling it from the iPad is a breakthrough in control and simplicity. I hope to see more units that use this same technology. The only thing missing is tap tempo - which is crucial. BUT, word is from the Digitech rep on some forums is that this is coming with the next update in a couple of weeks.
The only other thing I would like to see is…
-a polyphonic tuner (like the TC Electronic PolyTune). (the built-in tuner is fine though)
-a few sound samples built-in to the app so I can hear the patches I make on-the-go
The app is great. The iPB10 is great. DO IT!
Beyond Awesome
All of my other pedals are unplugged and off to the side. Practicing, gigging and traveling with the ipb-10 pedalboard and my iPad. Very happy. Hope they add a second expression pedal in the not-yet-functional port on the back of the unit. And upgrades to the distortions will be nice... More tube sounds ... But a few pedals and the amp distortions a very good. Great delays, reverbs and choruses. Easy to use and navigate. Found the hardware unit for less than $400 from an eBay merchant.
Love it
It's amazing!
