Description
☆ One of the highest rated apps on the Mac App Store! ☆
iProcrastinate for Mac is a simple, yet powerful task management application that syncs wirelessly with iProcrastinate on your iPhone, or over the internet via Dropbox.
(The iPhone version of iProcrastinate is available on the iOS App Store.)
iProcrastinate is the ideal task manager for anyone who doesn't want their todo list to get in the way of actually getting things done! Great for anyone who is looking for a mobile, easy-to-use task manager. (Not just for students!) Add birthdays, soccer practice and conference calls, all without missing a beat.
Use a redesigned Calendar to help manage large numbers of upcoming or recently completed Tasks.
"Star" Tasks you want to keep handy, and then view them instantly in the "Starred" Group. Additional Groups can be enabled/disabled by right-clicking in the Subjects area.
Create Tasks that occur once, or that repeat based on a specific pattern. (Daily, every Second Thursday, etc.) Create a high-priority Task for your Chemistry project that's due tomorrow, or a low-priority Task for your workout that repeats every Monday, Wednesday and Friday!
Break complex Tasks down into Steps for step-by-step tracking of your Task's progress!
Relate files on your hard drive to specific Tasks. Helpful when keeping track of multiple documents for a class report or project.
I'm always looking for suggestions and feedback. Don't hesitate to email me if you have questions!
(To sync between devices, those devices must be on the same wireless network.)

WONDERFUL
I have been searching for exactly this type of setup for years. This interface is perfect to help me remember everything. Many other calendars and programs won't work because- I HAVE TO LOOK to see what I wrote- which means- I won't ever see it. This is designed so in my face that I really CAN'T miss the things on my to do list.
GREAT!!!!!!
Organization for the OCD household
This app is outstanding. I downloaded it because I was going on vacation and wanted to help my husband stay organized while I was away. Not only was I able to make a list of what needed to be done daily around the house but there is a feature that allows you input steps (how-tos). Nothing was dyed pink in the laundry; the kids where taken to the right place, at the right time, wearing the right clothes/uniform; full meals were cooked (instead of eating out every night) AND he said he had more time to himself at the end of the day because he didn't have to think about what to do next. This app made running a 6 person household brainless. Because this app can be downloaded on multiple devices, I used my iPad from across the country to see what had/had not been completed. It made him feel less stressed to have a guide, and I was able to relax knowing that our kids were staying in the routine that they are used to.
Now that I'm home, we still use it to input appointments/activities/obligations. He can input things that he needs in his phone and I can do them and check them off (and vise versa, of course). This is a great way to keep communication open without having to call your spouse constantly.
ONLY IMPROVEMENT... add an alarm feature so that when a deadline is approaching, you get an alert of some sort.
Definitely worth trying out
iProcrastinate is great at keeping all my to-do work organized and, as a review below said, "in your face". It has great options for due dates, and you can share it across devices. It's simple, and easy to use, and keeps you on track. Also, while I had a minor issue with it constantly crashing, the developer was quick to respond and helped me solve the issue over email "instant messaging".
All in all: helpful developer and keeps me on track of what I need to do. Highly recommended!
