iRun is osmotically-active software that helps you track your running stats. Active runners don't like to fuss with tracking their runs by GPS or fuss with carrying an iPhone on long runs or in the rain.
iRun is one of the only apps that allows runners to enter run details AFTER the run and track important stats like how many miles are on each pair of shoes. Active runners don't need GPS to tell them how far they ran- they usually know their course and want to track how much of their training was Fartleks or Long Runs.
Even better, you can send your run info to Twitter to let friends or training partners track your performance. Die-Hards will also love being able to hashtag their tweets for later review.
iRun was designed from the ground up by active runners looking for something different and better than what's available today.

Great for the serious runner
I hate running with any type of phone or iPod since it feels awkward and I run often in bad weather.
That said however it could use some more features. Most runners do warmups and stuff like that which do not count towards their time but still do put mileage on the shoe. So I think it would be great to be able to have a place each day to just add mileage separate from the milage that counts towards your time. Also a place to title your runs for the day.
Great app for keeping track of miles or kilometers on multiple shoes. That way I can figure out when I have to trade my shoes in rather than just guessing.
Almost 5 stars
I like this app but to get 5 stars a few things need to be upgraded. Jan of 2009 has gone away for my month totals now that I have started in Jan of 2010. I would like to compare last year to this year by months to see how I am doing. Also a way to sort the show all
log. I would still recommend this to fellow runners.
Good app
This app does exactly what it says on the tin. The only thing it would take to get a 5 star rating from me is the option to modify the "Type of Run" list, since I also need to track walking miles on my shoes.
