Horrible update planning on Jepp's part
They force a re-registration with the serial number after the update. If you were away from your PC and after hours there was no way to look it up as it's not even in your online account profile or services history. You were stranded with a door stop.
The QA manager needs a swift kick in the empennage.

Stalls updating manuals, no progress indicator either.
Conclusion: Avoid this version at all costs. Paying customers are unwitting (and unpaid) QA staff apparently.
Update -Not Impressed
I really WANT to like Jepp and this app, but....
Making us re-enter our serial # can prove a real pain & time waster, esp if we have to contact our employer, etc. Why couldn't your update remember our login data and at least present it to us via some history notation?
The entire interface of this app is clumsy. You are making progress, but please keep moving.
Btw....after this update & my re-enter of serial code, and after all the chart & manual updating: I can view the manuals, but CANNOT get ANY airport charts into view!!! What is up?
I also use Foreflight and find it to be the most advanced & easiest to use aviation charting app. My operation needs you for the International charts, but your app needs more work. I HOPE there's an update ASAP so I can view charts!
Slow Update poor performance
App apparently allows only one person in the world at a time to update charts!!!! Was 13th in the queue with 7 behind me and had to wait 30 minutes for my chart update. As much as Jepp charges for their data, this is rude and stupid!!
Also, the update is very buggy. Did anyone test this app??? My favorite airports no longer list any charts. There is a workaround: look up the airport again and then the charts show up. Stupid stupid stupid!!!!!
Finally, re-enter the serial number?????
Jeppesen get serious. Fire the current developers and hire some folks who know how to write quality iOS apps.
