A+ customer support
First of all, the app is great. It is easy to understand, you will be able to program your remotes within a few minutes and it offers many versatile features.
But I was even more impressed from their customer support. I had programed a very complex command combination with double macros and jump commands and figured out a bug in the software. I emailed the problem to thier website, within a few hours I got a response and a confirmation that the problem has been located and had been already updated. Three days later the new software update was available on itunes.
I updated the app and the problem was gone. Thanks for your outstanding customer service !!!
Why all the sour grapes?
I really don't understand the negative reviews, although the ones complaining it's not free are stupid. There's no IR transmitter on the iPhone, so how are you going to make a universal remote without an extra device?
Anyway, the level of customization is great, although apparently it's too confusing for some people. This is a great app and device.
Most reliable remote
While the design interface is quirky, both the hardware and app performance is rock solid. Once you get used to the design workflow you will easily get your layout and functionality sorted quickly. I have been quite impressed with how customizable the app is. It even supports macros and pronto codes! And when you are done, you can back up your remote to the cloud so you can easily pull them back on another iOS device.
