LanguageBuilder is designed to help children accomplish the following educational goals: 1) Improve sentence ideation ; 2) Improve sentence formation; and 3) Improve receptive and expressive language. NBCT loves it!
This is a great interactive app! It is designed to help students learn how to build original sentences and how to express the sentences grammatically correct, and it does just that. I love that the students can customize the settings based on their own needs. I realize that this app is intended for children with special needs, but my regular education 4th and 5th graders have really enjoyed using this app and sharing their creations with their peers as well as their parents. They are constantly asking to use the "builder apps". I am very happy with this app!

This app is great for both of my kids- one has Autism, the other doesn't. They both love recording their own voices and listening to them back! Little do they know, they are learning and practicing with all this fun!
Love it!
I have several of the "Builder" apps, and really like all of them. This one has great photos, full of language! You can use the app as designed, or you can turn the hints and audio off, and work on other specific language skills. I used it to work on past tense verbs. I'm looking forward to adding some of the modules to the app. If you want your child, student, or client to improve language skills, this app is great. You can record their response and replay it. It's very motivating for a child to hear their own voice. You can talk about any changes that need to be made, and re-record. You can even email a recording to a parent. This app is a great therapy tool!
