Not Worth the $4.99
Just purchased this app thinking it would be nice to have. I am the adminstrator of our League Athletics Lacrosse site and have found the site to work well for us so I figured ... "wouldn't it be great to have a mobile app". Well SAVE YOUR MONEY! It's not worth the $4.99 which is discouraging given how much the site has to offer. Quite frankly ... given what you pay for the site they should provide you with a mobile app. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP ... it only allows you to post scores, look at schedule of upcoming games and the players rostered for those games. Nothing else.
Not worth the money!
[Updated 3/31/12] "this app has gotten worse over time. It won't let me login and keeps asking me to purchase it again. I clear the cache and history, delete and reinstall the app and it still won't allow login. The League Athletic website is a great tool and have never experienced issues as the webmaster; however, this app it terrible and really needs to have major bugs fixed before anyone should purchase the app. It would help if League Athletics made the app free and allowed other administrators of their website platform access to resolve these bugs in hopes it will be a valuable tool. Unfortunately, it's frustrating and not helpful at this time."
I'm a fan of the website and a webmaster for our League. The iPhone app is terrible and needs a ton of work to become something. The $4.99 for this is a joke and bought simply on the good name of League Athletics - sorry I was fooled by their poor performance on this app. Not even sure I'd pay 99 cents if given the opportunity again.
No basic features
This app has a lot of basic issues for the price. Cannot even copy and paste text into the message area. Also can't even get to message body or see what your typing unless you flip the phone horizontal. Also doest work on IPAD at all, even as an iPhone app it's missing options. It's a complete rip off and for the money compared to other apps it's got a long way to go!
