Twenty years ago there were eight Lodi wineries. Today, there are more than 80…and each year the number continues to grow. Whether you’re new to Lodi or a dedicated Lodi wine enthusiast, this app will allow you to maximize your wine tasting experience while visiting the Lodi appellation. You can search for a particular winery, find your favorite among the list, or discover new ones. You’ll also be able to get driving directions while navigating from one winery to the next using the integrated Mapping feature. The app also allows you to view tasting room hours, special events, local activities, wine specials, and more.
About the region…
Nestled between the San Francisco Bay and the Sierra Nevada Mountains lies Lodi Wine Country, a region fast becoming one of California's true wine stars. Lodi Wine Country offers a rural atmosphere and relaxed pace for you to enjoy its beautiful vineyards and exquisite wines.
Lodi wines are tended by generations of farming families rooted to the land, yielding wines that are simply irresistible. They are full of flavor, yet soft and supple on the palate—delicious on their own or the perfect companion to food.
Lodi has been a major winegrape growing region since the 1850’s. Today, the area has 100,000 acres of winegrapes, farmed by more than 750 growers.
Lodi is best known for its full-bodied Old Vine Zinfandel wines. In addition to Zinfandel, Lodi leads all other California wine districts in the production of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier.
