Syncing requires LogTen Pro for iPhone 6.0 and/or LogTen Pro for iPad 6.0 or later, sold separately.
**WiFi connection required for syncing; if iPhone/iPad/iPod and Mac cannot join the same local network then a direct computer-WiFi connection can be created on all Macs with an airport (wireless) card.

IMPORTANT: Versions of LogTen Pro prior to 6.0 are unable to understand the new fields and capabilities of version 6, and since we keep your entire logbook on each device to provide full functionality and a compete backup, if you install this update you will need to update all copies of LogTen Pro to version 6 or later as well to support syncing.

DO NOT UPGRADE!!!
Their is no need to upgrade to 6.0. Don't fall for the 50% sales pitch, once you upgrade one device you have to upgrade all of them.
I didn't read the IMPORTANT note and now I have to upgrade my iPad for another $39.99
Just keep the older version. The new changes are nice but not really worth over $100.00 to upgrade both MAC and iPad/iPhone
It's Good But…
The good… this app doesn't require a subscription like many others do once you download it, it's yours. The design is very Mac Like I really like the design it's easy to use and you have basically endless options on how you would like to create a logbook entree. It's very cutting edge I like how they have teamed up with Fore Flight you can log a flight from the flight plan data that you input to Fore Flight. This app has a ton of cool options to explore the Coradine team really are at the top of there game on this app. The Bad... Considering this app doesn't have a subscription fee the price isn't too hateful if you think of it that way but it is a little high at first. I was very disappointed with the release of Log Ten Pro 6 not in the product but in the way it has been released Log Ten pro desktop version for me updated at no charge however when I upgraded the desktop version the iPad version became incompatible and the only way to make the too work again in "syncing" was to upgrade the iPad's Log Ten version as well not happy with having to pay for updates if I am going to have to pay for updates every time one comes out I may as well be paying for a subscription. For the cost of the app you should never have to pay for an update come on especially not in the first year… Also if your going to get the iPad app don't expect to be able to use the same app on your iPhone they will make you pay for that too.
Waiting on iCloud support
I bought the old version on the Mac App Store because I was promised a free upgrade to version 6, which was advertised with iCloud syncing support. I paid almost $200 for the Mac and iPhone versions to upgrade from Logbook Pro. Come to find out that version 6 was released without iCloud support, and not only that, but the apps were on sale for half price (with no price adjustments for people that recently purchased). The apps are nice to use and are an improvement over Logbook Pro, but other than the missing iCloud support that I am waiting for, I don't really see much of a difference between version 5 and version 6.
