Why the meters don't move
For the meters to move, the app would have to have access to the song's data (not just control the playback). Apple doesn't allow third-party apps that access. That's also why you don't see any visualizers in the store that work with music stored on the device.

Needs Improvement
THE GOOD: great looking skin for McIntosh fans.
THE BAD: it's basically an iPod skin without any of the functionality. Shuffle, albums, podcasts, audio books: none of these basic options are supported. Also, the meter is static and only represents the volume setting: it should move along with the db level of the audio being played.
Since this is a "ver. 1.0" app, improvements are expected and the rating will be upgraded. However, if basic functions like those mentioned above are not added quickly, this will become a 1-star review and thusly deleted.
