Miiingle is about always knowing when your friends are just around the corner. It’s keeps you connected with your Facebook friends in the real world, and in real-time. Whether you're at a music festival, on a night out in town, or simply going for lunch, if your friends are close Miiingle will locate them, and let you know about it. It’s that simple!
Miiingle employs an adjustable 'proximity of awareness' system to alert you when your friends are nearby, nicknamed the “Miiingle Radius”. This feature allows you to pick a customizable area around yourself that limits where Miiingle can actively detect your Facebook contacts. You will only be alerted when a friend wanders inside your Miiingle radius. Once they venture outside of it – and out of touch – your friends will no longer appear on the Miiingle map, and visa versa.
Miiingle places a focus on user’s privacy and security, Miiinglers always have total control over who they want locate as well as who can locate them. With the flick of a finger, you can make yourself available to some friends, and not to others, on an individual basis. Or simply logout to completely remove your location from everyone.
