MiJay is a free social networking application that allows you to view and share what music your friends are listening to on their iPhone and iPod Touch in real-time. See what your friends are listening to on their iPhone or iPod touch, view their iPod artists, songs, and playlists. MiJay also lets you compare your iPod songs to your friends and tells you the differences between them. Features: Add friends and view the music on their iPhone or iPod Touch, see which of your friends own a certain song, compare your music to a friend, make comments on your friends' songs, view top owned, most hyped, and top played songs, buy new music, share what you're listening to on Facebook.

Social media for your music
I've always had that one friend with *the* playlist for parties or trips, and had to beg for the playlists. Now I can just get them on this app to snag music and reminisce of trips past. Finally.
Sharing the song I’m listening to on facebook nary requires a personal note as the song alone normally spells out my mood.
Once this app picks up, I think people will wonder how they lived without it.
