WHAT IS MUNZEE?
...a 21st century scavenger hunt taking geocaching to the next level.
Munzee is a real world scavenger hunt game where items are found in the real world and captured using your smartphone. You then level up and gain rank based on your score. Points are obtained by capturing other people's munzees or when your deployed munzees are captured by someone else. Munzee is based off of the fundamentals of geocaching and adds another layer of fun to the hunt.

WHAT DO MUNZEES LOOK LIKE?
Munzees come in any size or shape but all must contain a QR-code style barcode. The barcode combined with your GPS coordinates are the essential gameplay elements of munzee. Munzees can be hidden in containers, camoflauged or even in plain view.

Awesome Game! More fun than old GeoCaching!
What a cool innovation to GeoCaching! Munzee takes GeoCaching to a whole new level! Thanks to the cool app, now you don't have to take out a pencil, unscroll the soggy paper, and try to write your name to log your cache, then go home and log it online... No, with Munzee, you just point your smartphone at the QR code, and it automatically focuses, captures it, logs you at the precise time and location thanks to GPS, and you're done! I love it! And even though there aren't too many Munzees in my area (yet!), it's so easy to deploy them - just point and shoot, and it's deployed! It's fun to be an early adopter on the cutting edge! HIGHLY recommended if you're into GeoCaching or looking for a fun game where you can use the technology. Of your smartphone to get you out into nature! 5*****
Cool app
I still prefer geocaching, but this is pretty cool. Wish I had more in my area
Fun Game
Fun game. Many in my area. Sometimes the app crashes after posting to journal after capturing. I was on peak 3pm-7pm PST when I got the crashing.
I tried again today and no crashes; This was at 6am-8am PST.
