This saves you time and headaches on the road.
NAVIGON MyMaps:
NAVIGON MyMaps allows you to carry only the country maps you currently need. Meaning you have more memory space for photos, music and other apps.

What's New in Version 2.0.1

Version 2.0 included a new map update feature called FreshMaps. FreshMaps is a premium service that NAVIGON adapted from their successful line of PNDs (personal navigation devices) in Europe, whereby for a fee, users can get the latest maps every three months for a period of at least two years. The introduction of this service into the app was planned prior to Garmin’s acquisition of NAVIGON.
Prior to the launch of FreshMaps, free map updates were provided on an irregular basis. In response to customer feedback, we will continue to deliver occasional free map updates in addition to the optional FreshMaps service, which provides more regular and frequent (quarterly) map updates. Note that FreshMaps also upgrades regional versions, such as MyRegion or USA, to the full North American map.

ZERO Customer Support
I bought US West, then about among later added US Central from the In-App purchase. Now I am finding I also need US East (obviously would have been cheaper to by the entire package up front), but now there is no "In-App" way to purchase it, even though the product descriptions say there is.
Customer Support? Yeah right! All there is is a canned FAQ with no mechanism to contact anyone, even to spend money. It a nice program as long as it works, but don't count on ANY support.
Zero Support!
I wanted to purchase the map upgrade to U.S central. It does not appear to be available via in app purchase and when I contacted customer support, they told me to log into my online account and then they told me that they have other products. They had no idea what is going on. I am a Longtime Navigon user and I am very disappointed.
Used to be the best but new update makes you pay for updates! Garmin is greedy!
Old Review(read below for new): This app always has had perfect turn by turn directions, but the newest update now handles playing music/radio/any other app in the background. With music it lowers the volume then gives direction and raises the volume back to what it was. Absolutely perfect! Great work devs.
Update: This app used to be the best, but now they require an additional $24.99 for updates. This is the WORST customer service I've ever seen. At the very least they should have given this feature for free to current users. So now that we've paid more for this app then what is currently being advertised (since price went down since most users purchased it) Now customers are being shafted again to pay even more. I wish this company was never acquired by Garmin. They clearly bought it to destroy it with their greedy pockets.
So to make this review a long story, short.... This app used to be great but since Garmin bought it, IT'S NO LONGER WORTH IT at least until Garmin stops the price gouging and wakes up to the fact the world is in a recession.
