Customer Reviews

Has strengths and weaknesses

I dig the easy-to-manage launcher shortcuts and overall look and feel. Dictionary integration is great, some people might be interested in running this just for that.

However:

1) It does not search the filesystem, a function I have grown used to in Quicksilver/QSB. You can setup shortcuts, but that defeats the purpose.
2) Something isn't quite right about the CLI integration. You can create shortcuts for commands, including a variable, but they are executed silently with no GUI output. OK, but when I attempt to pipe the output to the clipboard (pbcopy) or growl (growlnotify) nothing is output (from commands that execute properly elsewhere). It would be much more useful if NuKit passed CLI commands/arguments to Terminal.app so the output is straightforward.
3) They didn't respond to my support request regarding item 2.

Aside from the above, it would also be nice if you could configure custom search engines, i.e. Google SSL Beta.
