Excellent fast pace third person shooter
Love the old school style. It is a quick pick up game that you can quickly get in and out of. The gameplay is somewhat like a dual stick iOS shooter. Except you use the mouse to point the gun and ASDW to move around. The powerups on the weapons really add a lot to the game. In this way, the game is like a top down shooter (SMUP). For instance, the weapon upgrades can be longer range or spread etc. All are temporary though, so conserve ammmo. All in all, a great little gem.
Excellent Buy
The game is simple, which is good. Easy to pick up and get into. Super casual game. I loved it. I don't know the price. I got it on sale for free and I love it.
Additional weapons would be nice. Multiplayer would be awesome but ambitious. Good range of weaponry. Challenging gameplay and classic graphics. Music is good and fits the bill.
Can't beat this type of game. Feels alot like that old TI-83 calculator game we all played called "Phoenix". If you're a fan of Space Invaders but you want more variety and faster gameplay, this is a game you want to pick up.
Cute game, retro look, repeat playability
PROS
Fun, easy to learn and reminscent of all the classics of the 1980's.
Easy to learn, easy to play.
Gets challenging quickly enough to make it fun.
CONS
Very small maximum window size. On my 27 inch iMac this game is just plain obnoxious. On a 12 inch laptop it would be OK.
Retro graophics - 8 Bit style - while nostalgic get old.
Over all value, OK. If the screen size windo wwas customizable, scalable or just plain bigger it would be a better game. As it stands, I suggest anone with a large screen hold off until the developer releases an update with larger windows.
