There is no debate, the XBLA version of this game is outstanding. I had high hopes for the iPhone version as well, but Namco... you make me sad. Sure, you gave us four options for controls, but you did not give us even one that provides the speed and ease of movement this game requires to play. Yes, you gave us this game at a great price, but you also locked more than 50% of the game's content, requiring the ADDITIONAL purchase of an expansion pack to access. I feel a bit taken advantage of Namco. I sincerely hope that, at the least, you take time to improve the controls... Simply making the D-pad smaller would probably suffice... If you buy this game now, just make sure you are aware what you are getting into.
The expansion pack is criminal!
The game itself is excellently done and is as much fun to play as the Xbox verision. However, Namco's bait-n-switch with the in-app purchase is disgusting. Do not sell me half a game, with everything locked up an unavailable options. It's one thing to provide extra content, but it's another thing altogether to withold basic content when I've already spent money.
Either make the whole game $6 from the start, or have a limited free version, but DON'T make me pay through the nose TWICE when I think I'm buying a whole game. Very disgusted.
Cannot buy expansion pack
You only get about 15% of content without purchasing additional expansion pack. Not to mention the in app purchase doesn't work anyway, so you are basically paying 3 dollars for a demo.
