So much wasted potential
This is a wonderfully designed app, the interface is great. However, there is an issue using AirPlay to Apple TV where the video stops and kicks you out of the app. I emailed support and they told me "stay tuned" for an update, but the latest 1.5 update does not fix the problem. Also the video quality is pretty terrible, tolerable on the iPhone's tiny screen, painful on my TV. C'mon PBS you have so much potential, just give us at least 480p and fix the AirPlay bug!
Keep trying
PBS gets "A" for effort but this remains a troubled app. The screen still goes dark. The program still gets out of sync. It remains touchy and crashes easily. What's needed is something that spools the program to the device before it even starts. Most of it anyway. It needs to be less dependent upon the quality of the Internet connection. When it's working the video is just gorgeous and the sound quality is very good.
Nice App
Please add videos for "finding your roots". Also would be nice to be able to save a spot in your video to pick back later on.
