The PetSaver App is the premiere reference and educational tool for all pet lovers and Pet Care Professionals. It includes easy to follow step-by-step instructions for CPR, first aid skills and daily care information for dogs and cats. There is a separate section for dogs and a separate section for cats with specific information for each type of animal.
With a push of a button and a swipe of your finger you can have access to your pet’s vital health information. This includes ICE (In Case of Emergency), a first aid kit checklist, emergency pet help locator, and administering medications just to name a few.
The CPR & First Aid Section includes 12 procedures from CPR, Heat and Cold Injuries, Choking, Snake Bite, Shock, Bleeding Protocols and more.
You can also access a comprehensive list of poisonous items that can be hazardous to your pets. To make it easier the items are organized by category (Plants, Household Items & Food). Each category lists the item and includes a description, full-color picture, signs and symptoms and actions for survival. This information can mean the difference between life and death.
With each skill there are step-by-step instructions with pictures and an audio file narrated by Thom Somes, “The Pet Safety Guy,” president and founder of Pet Tech that you can listen to while following along.
The patent pending Snout-To-Tail Wellness Assessment is one of the most valuable skills in this app. The PetSaver App includes guided instructions to assist you in doing an assessment on your pet. Each assessment can be archived and accompanied by pictures and details from puppyhood to senior petizen. The Snout-To-Tail Assessments can be e-mailed to your veterinarian or Pet Care Professional for easy reference in your pet's care.

You can create a pet identification card that is perfect for your Emergency & Disaster Preparedness Kit. In the unfortunate event of a lost pet, you can quickly generate a "Lost Pet Poster." This can be saved as a jpeg and sent via e-mail directly to animal shelters, veterinarians, etc and copies can be printed with “tear-off” contact information on the bottom so you can post all over the neighborhood. When time is of the essence, you won’t have to waste time looking for photos and creating flyers, it can all be ready for you in seconds. And you and your pet will be reunited.
In the Essentials Section there are instructions for collecting urine and stool samples, how to restrain and muzzle, what to do in an emergency situation and how to transport an injured pet. You will find instructions on how to check your pet's vitals (breathing rate, pulse, capillary refill and temperature). All of your pet’s vitals can be added to The Snout-To-Tail Wellness Assessment, which is archived by time and date. By using the preset timer with a visual and audible alert makes checking your pet’s breathing rate and heart rate a breeze.
