Description
Pingdom iPhone app lets you connect to the Pingdom uptime monitoring service and view the current status of the servers and websites you are monitoring. It is a handy companion when you receive an error alert from Pingdom.
Features:
- Get alerts directly to your iPhone (push notifications).
- View the current status (up or down) of all your monitored sites.
- View uptime and response time statistics for each site.
- Customize the list of shown checks (each check monitors a site or server).
- Get information about each check, such as its monitoring resolution, check type (HTTP, Ping, DNS, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, TCP port, etc) and target (IP address or URL).
Requirements:
To use the Pingdom iPhone app you first need to have a Pingdom account.

Great Service
Pingdom is an amazing tool to have when you're maintaining your own server. The app could really use an option to use a different alert tone (e.g. a warning klaxon), so you can audibly distinguish server alerts from less pressing things.
Can't log in
Won't let me create an account with any of my emails. Believe me I typed my address correctly and you don't have it already.
Can't connect iPhone, push notification doesn't work
Even though the contact is checked to receive notification in the app, and the iPhone notification is enabled for the contact, it still shows "no iPhone connected" on the Contact page and the No notification has ever been received.
