Improved "workflow" is anything but

With this update, Pixelmator has introduced a new workflow whereby every image opened is automatically converted to the native PXM format. It is impossinle to quickly edit a file and save it back out now.

Major step backwards, and major disappointment. I should't be forced to waste disk space when all I need to do is crop an image.

Sandbox should be option

This is an excellent piece of software ( 5 stars ) that worth all the money I've paid, a good alternative to the stupid Photoshop for Mac users. Although, the 2.0.4 update is a waste of time and space. Sandbox protection or edit directly should be an option decided by the user, rather than converting every image I am opening to native pxm format. Please developer, make this an option in the preferences that can be set by the user. Actually, I had to roll back to the 2.0.3 version, luckily I kept in a backup, leaving the update prompt on which is not accepted at all.

Used to be good but...

I used to love Pixelmator but the latest upgrade was a really step down. I'm missing Lion features like Auto Save for photos. Pixelmator is losing the simple things that have turned my job easier. That's why I'm not using it anymore until the next upgrade or until I found a way to downgrade to version 2.0.3.
