Description

A simple app for creating emailable postcards from your own photos or any image.

The postcard's stamp image can also be changed and will be postmarked with the current date and city from which it is sent.

What’s New

Version 20120127.0.0

Thanks to everyone that has purchased this app over the years. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to keep it up to date so I've made it free. I hope you still find it useful.

Clever App

A fun, easy way to create and send a "postcard." It needs a little refinement but it's a simple way to send a creative, unusual message.

Postcard is poor

This is a very weak app; very weak. It is not worth $4.99.

First, it is incredible simple and lacking in functions. Second, what little it does do, it does weakly.

Function : You can drag a photo into Postcard and then add some short, postcard type text. Then you can 'copy to clipboard' and paste the result into an email message in your favourite email tool. Apart from the cute postage stamp image, you can do all this in your own email tool, e.g. Apple Mail.

Weak : even this simple app has a bug. If you use the 'save postcard as image' function, then the saved image includes an image of the edit cursor. It looks very odd and unpolished.

Overall : My 100kB image + short text ballooned to a 800kB email. There is no reason for this; I gave up with this simplistic and useless app and simply formatted an email and attached my own images.

Don't buy this waste of time app. I was fooled by the '4+' rating. I wasted $4.99 buying it and then wasted 20 mins figuring out it was junk with little functionality and no author support.

Customised eCards

Lovely way to make customised postcards. All you need is two pictures and your message. Awesome. Thanks.
