Good, but a big let down

This game has a ton of things to be a best seller and a brilliant, one of a kind RPG. BUT, it's not. I loved the game at first, but the campaign was short, and was a lot of here to there quests. The dialogue wasn't very good, and you couldn't make many choices that make RPGs so popular and realistic; such as the choice to steal or kill nice people to take their stuff. There aren't many characters, and barely any of them have any role whatsoever in the short campaign. The combats pretty good, but could be better, and there could be a lot of different store. It needs a weight limit on things you can carry, and it certainly needs side quests (and tons of them to keep the replayability up. I like how the game doesn't make magic spells and stuff like that too important. THE GAME LACKS TOO MANY IMPORTANT RPG ELEMENTS! I'm sorry, I don't want to sound picky, but the world of ravensword isnt as open and isn't very big. The graphics and areas are great, but it needs a fallout 3 style of open, large map that would take a long time to explore and get/finish side quests. This way, replayability boosts and the game isn't going to get old very fast. It'd be cool if we could customize our person. There should be more weapons, and they should all be more unique, so u don't just have one weapon that is better than the rest. This is what ravensword NEEDS!
I know you are busy working on Ravensword 2, which I hope will include these important parts to a true RPG, but make sure you don't just focus purely on the sequel. Ravensword 2 won't have as much success as it couldve had if your customers were satisfied by the first ravensword. Besides, if you don't update the first one, you give people no reason to buy the first, therefore the first will barely be worth anything. UPDATE ravensword 1, but I know ravensword 2s progress is important. Don't let updates interfere until that's finished.

My advice: finish the sequel. Then fix any bugs the sequel may have. THEN, Add more areas and side quests to BOTH ravenswords via updates to improve each game until they are perfected, and probably are the top apps of the store. DONT BE RUSHING ON THE UPDATES. Take your time to perfect it and make sure it will satisfy your customers, plus complement the rest of the game as a whole.

Some unnecessary, but very affective updates could include co-op (Bluetooth please) or versus (also with Bluetooth option too please) and it would double the single players mode by a mile if you you made the world of ravensword change according to the iPod clock/calendar. That way, at midnight, it's at it's darkest point (and maybe add incredibly stronger monsters for these later hours) monsters will thrive and it will be harderto move about. Also, maybe at night the town comes to life and there are jugglers and torches. For the calendar, have certain days have certain events. On a solistice, maybe have a quest to prevent a guy from completing a ritual to free a large monster. Or on christmas have Santa hidden somewhere in the world of ravensword. Oh, and what happened to CRYSTAL?!

Please listen to my comments and try to meet these expectations. Make us pay for the major update, I don't care, as long as you fix this!
Thx, and I hope ravensword 2 is a success, not a let-down!

Insane

Gives you that oblivion experience on the ipod. i loved it but i think you could do a lot better. for the next one try to improve customization ALOT. needs way more weapons, armor, and magic. also see if you can extend the main quest longer than just a couple of hours. i mean, i'm the type that explores everything so it lasted longer than it was supposed to< but still make it longer and make the areas alot bigger and make more side quests. other than the lack of customization and the small areas, i still liked it. Two thumbs up chillingo!!

Terrible

The controls don't work. To turn it takes like 30 seconds! Don't buy it it is total crap and I got bored of it within minutes! Rip off!
