Please note:
If it sill takes too long to launch the app, you might want to try to reset the app: Just launch Reeder while holding alt/option, then "Reset Reeder…" (the button at the bottom).

Good, but...
…it would be even better if it didn't load plugins in the reading list, or if you could disable them in the reading list and/or browser entirely. I'M LOOKING AT YOU FLASH PLAYER
Needs to be more Mac like, less iPad like
I'm back to NetNewsWire for now. I hope Reeder improves so I can use it.
PRO:
1. Beautiful layout of text and easy to read
CONS:
1. No tabs? That makes some sense on an iPad, but zero sense on a Mac.
2. Readability buttons can't be removed. I use Instapaper because unlike Readability, Instapaper is run by good people. You can remove most of the Readability buttons, but not the one at the bottom of the screen.
Why No Option to 'Mail Article'?
The iPad and iPhone versions of Reeder provide the option to mail the news article, which I find more preferable to simply mailing a link. However, I don't find this option in the OSX version of Reeder. Please consider providing. Thanks.
