My most used app
My husband and I are both addicted to this game. We've never played the board game, only learned on the iPad app. Love the international ratings system, and that the developers created a tournament for the top players. Really a great experience all-round. Would love to see some additional maps for added challenge, perhaps a better-looking chat area for the online games (it feels very dated, allows limited writing space), and even some 3D effects to make things a little more visually appealing. Other than that, it's a steal for $5, as I've seen the board game sold in stores for $35... And this app gets a lot more use than a board game. Look for me to play a Samurai game online... ID is "vegangirl". :)
Excellent strategy game
Samurai is simple game but with great depth of strategy. AI is competent, providing a good challenge and even surprising you at times. If you are into games with a depth of strategic thinking consider buying it. I also like that they took the trouble of releasing an universal app so I don't have to buy it for both the iPhone and the iPad. Needs access to friend list and Game Center support.
Great little game
I downloaded this weekend and did the 3 tutorials that came with the app since i've never played the game before. Tutorials are good and will have you playing in 10 minutes. Simple rules and very fun to play. I played against the computer and across the internet against friends. Graphics and music are good. If you like thinking tile board games you will like this one. Good buy at $4.99.
