Reuters News Pro v2.7 UI mistake
Reuters News Pro has been, and still is, an excellent news source with its excellent content and very nice UI on iOS. Unfortunately, with v2.7, the folks at Reuters just made a serious UI mistake by applying the common gesture of pinching to navigate back to a previous page. What the heck?
Anyone who has used an iOS device for any length of time is going to find this pinching navigation abomination confusing. What happened to a good ole left arrow in the UI somewhere to go back? Or how about the standard iOS UI control with a title in a button with the left arrow on the left side of the button? Or for heaven's sake, how about a swipe to the right meaning you want to navigate back to the precious page?! There are quite a few
better UI behaviors than pinching to go to a previous page. :-(
regards,
dEVoN
