Misepresentarion?

I say save your dollar for sonething else. I suspect others give 4 or 5 stars only when channels they wanted are working well. But I bought this because they listed a number of my local area police on the web as being included. And yes, they are in the app too, listed with popularity but always showing off-line. And they are ALWAYS off-line! This is false advertising at it's best. You advertise channels you do not have.

Status of stations display is really awful, and does not seem to update real time, if even often.

And Remember people, you are not "picking up" stations here. This is not a radio. Their servers know if a station is live because THEY stream them, and they connect you to the stream. If the stream is down, they know. Update the channel display immediately, rather than make me sit on "buffeting" for 2 minutes only to tell me it is down. Bad interface.

Seems like a scam to me if the website is not up to date as well, or they keep listing known "dead" feeds now just to make their list look longer to get people to buy the app. How about adding an "up time" percentage to the website and channel display so at least we know what to expect?

I realize that feeds go off from time to time, but the two close to me have been off since I got the app, now almost 45 days. Not as much fun listening to a distant community. One does buy this to listen to the local area channels after all!

I'm not sure "reporting" the off line station helps do anything but eventually delist the station, which is not much help AFTER you paid for the app.

Also, be nice if they used location services and gave a list of local channels so you do not have Togo searching all the time.

Only a buck, but I wish I had spent it on something that works better and does not mislead you into thinking there is more that there really is.

More stars when more of the listed channels are actually on-line, status is more accurate, and location is added to make it easier to find stations for where you are.

Get 5-0 Radio instead

There's a free app in the top utilities section called 5-0 Radio. And there is nothing here that 5-0 Radio doesn't have!

I wished I would have known that sooner, because this app is just a waste of a dollar. All the reviews on here seem to be from people who do not realize that there is a free app available that offers the same functions.

And if you want a good paid version of a police scanner, get 5-0 Radio Pro instead. It lets you chat with other listeners and has 35,000 feeds instead of the few hundred that are here.

False advertising

List of channels on website doesn't match list in the app.
