Description
This social skill app is appropriate for people with high functioning autism. The social skills are geared towards common situations that arise during the school day, such as: Conversations, Classroom, Cafeteria, PE Class, Recess, Playing games and other social skill areas. The app gives a description of the social skill and on the bottom has Expected/Unexpected buttons. When one of these buttons is pressed, it lists the behaviors that others are expecting or that is unexpected to others. The student needs to understand that if they have unexpected behavior it will upset others around them. If they keep their behavior on expected, they will be socially successful.

Lots of information, no pictures
My aspie is extremely visual, learning more from illustrated social stories than just from reading words. There is a lot of good information in this app, but I am going to have to augment the information with social stories in order for my daughter to actually comprehend and retain the information.
School Skills
Very disappointed in this app. It is meant for persons on the autism spectrum; a group whose need for visuals is not represented here. $4.99 for this app seems hugely inflated for the quality presented. There are misspellings and text that is directive in a way almost dismissive of the needs of this population.
