Sadly it's a scam..
So I downloaded the game for free during a promotion. I played it and it was ok, definitely not as good as Real Racing, not even close.
I wanted to upgrade in app for a car and "cash", and made the in app purchase. But it does not give you the purchased content. I restarted the app, the iPad, everything, etc, and nothing. The help pages say to check your profile for missing purchases, but when you do the app quits. Repeatedly shutting it self down is a pretty bad bug. What good is a profile if you can't update it?
Anyways, after contacting Apple and reading their help pages, it's very clear that in app purchase problems have to be dealt with by the developer. After contacting EA sports, they said it was Apples problem. Back and forth on the phone, and everyone blames the other. Apple again told me that in app purchase content issues are dealt with by the developer. Their website states it also. E A told me to "purchase more content to see if it would work".. And that if I could find out the credit firm that apple uses for billing maybe they could give me a refund. EA also said they don't know much about the iPad games and how to fix their problems. Not a big priority it seems.
Asking me to make more purchases to see if they work seemed ridiculous to me. And EA basically said, like apple, they don't care. EA went on to say that there is a bug in the in app purchasing, but there's nothing they can do. So as long as you don't want to make an in app purchase it's almost an ok game. But if you would like to donate to EA and not get anything in return, feel free. Rest assured no one will want to help you with any issues you may have. Download it while it's free, just be sure and don't in app purchase anything unless you don't mind being ripped off.
What happened to my NFS Shift 1 game I paid for?
It's not in the cloud. I am glad I got this for $2 but I do not want my other games to vanish. Yeah I usually back them up on my computer but Shift is not in the cloud. This one is fair. Put the games in the cloud that people paid for!
Better Drift & Sell Cars
This game is decent but, the ability to sell cars in the iPad and iPhone would be greatly appreciated. Second, why is it in a normal race or any event EXCEPT for drift competition can I sneeze into a drift, but DURING the drift competition I nearly have to throw my back out to set any car I choose with many various setups in the options (tilt/swipe to drift, amount of brake assist, sensitivity, etc, etc) into one then? It's quite annoying. Please improve drifting ability in drift competitions and add the ability to sell cars on both iPhone & iPad as I have the game on both.
