“Sending postcards from my phone is as easy as text messaging, but the end result is much, much nicer.” – Andru Edwards, GearLive.com
Got a great photo to share? Now you can turn any photo on your iPhone into a real, paper postcard that prints and mails the next business day to any mailbox in the US, Western Europe and Asia.
Here’s how it works:
• Take a photo
• Choose a friend from your iPhone contacts
• Personalize your postcard with your own typed message
• Hit the shootit! button and your card will be printed and mailed the next business day from the country closest to your recipient
• Relax, we’ll take it from here. We will print it, laminate it, apply the proper postage, and put it in the mail the next business day…it’s like having a personal assistant!
And remember, we print and mail globally. That means that if you’re traveling abroad, you can simply snap a photo in front of the Eiffel Tower one day, and by using the shootit app, have that digital picture turned into a beautifully printed postcard that will be placed in the US mail the following business day. The same principle holds true if you are in the US and snap a postcard to send to friends and family living in Europe or Asia!
Try shootit! today and your first postcard is FREE. After that it’s only $1.29 for any address in the US, $1.54 to any address in the rest of North America, the UK and Japan, and $1.79 to any address in the rest of Western Europe and Asia.
So, whenever you’ve got a great photo to share – just shoot it!

I am basically lazy. This year I sent out about 50 Christmas cards using Shoot It. I snapped a candid pix of our dog sitting at the base of our Christmas tree. I sent it to all 50 friends and family in about 15 minutes. The neat part about this was that in many cases as I saw those friends and family over the holidays it was the only Christmas card that they remembered enough to tell me about. I said something short and sweet like Christmas at the (Last name's) and my home town. People loved it and didn't think I was lazy.
A few bugs, but quality is good.
It has a few bugs, but the quality of the images are pretty good. Nice card stock!
Photo quality ok/nice cardstock
Postcard arrived in about 4 days. Photo quality could be better but the cardstock was wonderful.
Some other postcard apps have a nicer interface.
Love the concept.
