Shuttie 4+

I wanted to make a computer reboot on a schedule, and this app seems to do that, so I bought it.

However, the app resets when a machine is rebooted, Relaunching the app via “Login items” doesn’t start the timer.

There is no way to keep the timer “Activated” - the “Activate” button must be pressed after launch to do the task.

I recorded a simple Automator action app (wait 10 seconds, click “Activate” in Shuttie), set it to open via "Login Items”, and gave the tiny app accessibility access in security to control the mouse for that one click.

There are ZERO kekboard commands for the app. there are basically no Preferences to control the App’s behavior. There is no check box to activate on app launch, which would have mitigated this issue. There is no menubar on the window, so there is no window title. Gross. Make a better Mac App, please.

This is a good app but is badly in need of a more modern look. Just lose the wood, please.

I had errors with the current version of Shuttie. I emailed the developer and he was very quick to respond to my issues and pushed a updated version to the App Store. I really enjoy using this app, especially to schedule shut downs or restarts. Beautifully designed and good support. I recommend this app to anyone who enjoys using scheduled AppleScript events.
