Very good
Whatever issues the other guy had have been resolved apparently. This has been super useful to me but it needs better training scripts or programmable training.
For example, to learn, you might want to just go up and down the staff for a particular fret area. You might want to limit to one or two strings at a time, or to a specific scale, first up and down then after a while, randomly.
Simpler, directed training and support for scales and key signatures would make this thing the number one freeboard learning tool.
Looks great BUT...
Great graphics, nice presentation, but it is Lacking in features AND the quiz was teaching wrong notes! I was dumbfounded so I checked thinking that I must be mistaken, then it happened again! What good is a study aide that teaches you incorrectly?
Ok so it's months since I wrote the above... There was an update so I came back to see if problem was fixed, app told me that an F on the staff was an F# on the guitar neck! DON'T WASTE YOUR $
Loads of potential...
I agree with the above. This app would be PERFECT, if only there were more discrimination regarding the quizzing. Also, what would be VERY helpful would be some learning modules BEFORE the quizzes. I realize that this may not have been the designer's intent on creation, but it would help a ton. Example: learn the notes on each string and their associated positions on the staff. Then quiz that string. Add another string, and its associated quiz, etc. That would make this 5 stars +. Until then, this is just a supplement to a book or something that actually teaches you the notes, which defeats the purpose of having this mobile app.
