UNBEATABLE!!!!
This is the best app on the market for teaching children. It's great for teaching my kindergarten class. The creators listened and now it's capable of up to 30 profiles. Awesome job. Wish I could give it 10 STARS!!!!
First Grade Teacher
This is the sight word app I use almost every day in my class this second semester. My school does RTI and this is a results-producing resource for my students. The multiple word lists are great: including Dolch AND Fry!
Maybe there's a way to do this and I missed it but the Dolch and Fry lists are in increments of 100. 25 words at a time, like the Smiley List, would be a more realistic chunk for early childhood.
This app is especially boy-friendly. My guys have really moved forward and I thank you for that!
I use it with 3 students at a time: one is the Thumbs Up button pusher, one is the Reader, and one is the Thumbs Down button pusher. So on the iPad, not just one is reading at a time but three are reading and evaluating!
Ok. I know this is long but one more thing. Research has convinced me that reading fluently depends on quickly recognizing words. Thank you for making an app that is, again, a great resource.
A suggestion for an upgrade: sight word phrases!
Great app!
Just found this and love it! Was able to customize lists for my twins who are in Kindergarten. Only thing I wish I could do is add words to the list that aren't in the main list. My girls have 'word families' on their sight word lists from school and words like tip, sip, dip or jog, hog, fog aren't in there. Add that and this would make a 5 star app!
